Problem / Solution

The original spread moves directly from a parent–child housework observation to an AR game response.

Research illustration of a parent cleaning while a child plays a game

Problem · Research

Reframing housework as something a family can play together.

The source research observes that parents often help very young children and only ask them to join housework later, when repeated reminders may be needed. The project reframes cleaning as an activity that can create a sense of achievement and family participation.

Solution · AR games

The vacuum cleaner becomes the spaceship in the story.

Children use the cleaner to eliminate dust enemies generated in the game. The source divides the experience into two connected modes: vacuuming and forging.

01

Vacuuming game

Attach a suction head, attack generated enemies, and collect random materials and experience points.

02

Forging game

Combine the collected materials into AR equipment for the main spaceship.

APP Prototype

A playable AR mobile prototype built with Unity and Vuforia.

The project records a self-directed build followed by half a year of testing and engineering assistance. The resulting game could run on a phone and be played together with the vacuum cleaner model.

Final Model / Nozzle Accessories

The final product spread explains both the vacuum system and the three suction-head configurations.

Final Model · Usage scenarios

Three suction heads connect physical cleaning tasks to different AR weapons.

Floor, bed, and flat tips support different situations. In the game, each suction head can also carry a different AR weapon, changing the interaction shown on screen.

Usage Scenarios

The phone fixture and physical product are shown together so the cleaner can move directly into the game experience.

Game interaction

Mount a phone, start the game, and destroy enemies through cleaning movement.

The source describes a phone fixture designed to accept different phone sizes. Enemies that appear through impact can be destroyed, allowing players to obtain game rewards.

APP Interface

The final spread closes the story with the complete interface sequence: account, narrative, home, profile, tasks, tools, gameplay, and forging.

Family members enter their own account details, move through the comic plot, create a personal planet, switch between rooms, and equip the vacuum spaceship through task and forging screens.
